Celebrating Our Healthcare Allies: An Evening of Reconnecting with Our Medical Coordinators

Intellicare’s Medical Relations Team recently hosted a Hospital Coordinators Dinner Gathering at Gloria Maris Restaurant in Greenhills, San Juan City on August 26. With participation from sister company Avega’s Medical Relations team, who shares our network of accredited medical providers, around 40 medical coordinators from Metro Manila joined us for an evening of connection, appreciation, and meaningful dialogue.

The gathering demonstrated the resilience of our healthcare partnerships and our commitment to collaborative patient care.

Leadership Insights and Open Dialogue

Dr. Gerardo J. Jiao, Intellicare’s Medical Director, opened the program by reflecting on the company’s three-decade journey and acknowledging the critical role coordinators play in patient outcomes. He shared encouraging post-pandemic performance metrics and emphasized the importance of maintaining sustainable healthcare costs while ensuring quality care.

Dr. Ian Paolo C. Oballo, Avega’s Assistant Medical Director, provided valuable updates on both organizations’ vision and mission. He highlighted essential responsibilities for affiliated providers, including compliance with the Ease-of-Paying Transactions (EOPT) Act, ethical medical information handling, and the advantages of healthcare digitalization.
